Re: Wanted : Neumann VMS70 SX74 SAL74B System
Here's some photos of my MCI JH 110 M, with preview head. Notice there is no record button. It would probably not be so easy to ask Beatles to go back in studio and start all the recording all over again, because the cutter person accidentally pressed record over the master tape (Though, I believe t...

What is twinning?
- When two grooves overlap or touch as a result of overmodulation. Twinning is also caused by improper groove-to-land ratios or defective lead screw.

Re: Shipping Lacquers
This Protape company in London sells professional shipping boxes for 14" lacquer. I just bought 4 boxes for £2.29 (ca $3.90) each, and I am very happy with them. These boxes also have a screw holder to keep the records in place while shipping.

I got the Scully LS-76 # 653 with Westrex 3DII, that I bought from Charlie Hertzburg in 2007. Now it's located in Oslo,Norway. I went down to visit him for three weeks in Melbourne, Florida, USA, when I bought the system. What a genius ! He has made a lot of modifications on the lathe, he also made ...

I'm a drummer too, started to play when I was 10 years old and have been playing for almost 40 years now. I have been and are playing different styles of music, I can play soft drums ( sometimes with brushes ), but mostly I play very loud and with drumsticks. Some of the bands I've played in plays r...
