It looks like a modified sc99, that setup looks really nice, very nice Job, I need to get my sc99 modified like that!! That platter motor looks like a flokason and floka pitch/depth controller, I'm really liking this setup!!

Re: Vinylium VC200 dummy motor HELP

Flozki, that worked great, thanks for your help, I did have a few troubles at first because my db connector doesn't go directly in the vc200 like others, mine has seperate xlr hookups for the feedback and seperate amp, but finding the 4-position plug on the front board got me to where I needed to be...

Vinylium VC200 dummy motor HELP

I have a modified VC200(red faceplate) and need to make a dummy motor for it to get it going. I don't have the Vinylium overhead. I know to make it is just a couple resistors and maybe a capacitor and I'm not sure where it would be hook up to inside the VC200. Any help would be appreciated. THANKS J...

I've been getting the same kind of error when just posting a reply also, but it does go thru, I think others might be getting the same because i've noticed people sending their same reply twice.

That lathe seems a bit pricey for what your really getting, and thats just the starting bid price. I bought a similar setup a few years ago for about the same price but it came with a grampian cutting system and a heat and vacuum setup. I'm sure this ebay auction will end with a very high price tag.

I would suggest going for the vinylium dubcutter and get their diamond stylus for plastics. You can easily upgrade the cutting system to a bigger lathe later when one pops up. At least then you'll get to start learning the art of cutting.

I'm thinking about bidding on it also, but without it being complete makes me unsure. Here's a link to a website I found that has that same picture on ebay and theres another photo with a different view of the lathe. You'll need to scroll down a little to find it. http://firstcask.blogspot.com/ Jason

Need info on Gotham amp

I just got the Gotham PFB-150WA power amp and I'm not sure which terminals on the input/output strips I should be hooking up to. I'm using a Grampian-D head with it. If any one has a manual or any knowledge with this amp please let me know.

Thanks
Jason
