WTF Not an amp issue, works on a 1d, Grampian, and tkv head. Embossed sin wave sweep from 20-20k, and head wouldn't play back anything below 1200 hz. Attached is a picture of the spectrograph captured from Audacity. The head is an RCA MI-11850-C. Any hints what's up with my head?

The ring is an original adjusting ring . the shaft is an original the brass thing is something i have made and use on frank n lathes to mount to a base . But because it had the screw hole on the side ,I just thougt it would be a good example.
