WTB: t560

I haven't been able to get any response from Souri, so thought I see if anyone is selling a t560.

Mastering with the t560

Just curious is anyone has used the t560 for mastering for pressing? I’m wanting to purchase one for doing short run stuff, but it’d be cool if I could use it for mastering of stuff I gets pressed eventually.

Re: The Mini Lathe Build log (Update)

You should really consider open sourcing this. I see lots of builds on here, and I've made a few myself, but just think about what we could do with an open source community effort.

When cars talked - little record player in Nissan

Found this on my Facebook feed today. I had no idea! I was familiar with the "Farmer Says" toys that similarly used tiny records.

King/Pin Record Pressing - Anyone familiar?

I've been trying to track down some pressing equipment and I was curious if anyone had ever heard of King/Pin Record Pressing company which was close to Atlanta? I found a little blurb about them in a magazine that said in the 80's they were doing super well and had just expanded to 10 presses. Anyo...

Re: Let's talk about DIY pressing

Mark Rob did a press as well a couple years back. There's also been a good deal of experimenting with molds and resins.

All the pics are showing up for me, probably just a temp issue with imgur.

Re: Let's talk about DIY pressing

1. How large are the pellets you are using? From the picture they look fairly large. Did you grind them any or have you considered that to decrease the amount of heat needed for melting and fusion? I remember reading about the Cook process and my impression was that the plastic used was a near powd...

Let's talk about DIY pressing

I originally sent this info as a private message to someone who was asking me about my Emory Cook experiments, but I figured anyone wanting to get into doing some experimental pressing could probably benefit from this, so here's my two cents: For the press, I built a mini four column hydraulic press...

Quoting that first link "The 12-inch vinyl single (often simply calle 12″ vinyl) is a type of gramophone recor that has wider groove spacing compared t other types of vinyl records. This allows f louder levels to be cut on the disc by th cutting engineer, which in turn gives wider dynamic range, an...

Re: Blank pressed records? Wasn't someone selling them?

Thanks, I ordered some form the second source.

While these are perfect for my experiments, what is the actual use of these record blanks? I've heard that blank vinyl is terrible sounding to cut into, or is there a machine that using these that I don't know about?

Hey Opcode, sent you a pm.

I just need pre-mastering. I'm doing the pressing through Pirates Press, and they include DMM as part of the package.

Thanks
