I've been wondering since the 80's (working @ an IBM laser research facility) when and why a laser would cut records... It's simply due to the progression ov media -that this idea is only resurfacing now, I believe... I've always pictured a CD walkman sized unit, all contained like a soundscriber 20...

to the rescue again! Thanx! I do have schematic for one machine I want to do this mod to, my Recordette. Yet I've still been having an issue tracking down one for my Edison VoiceWritter(s) (which plays sound NP -yet recording is an issue, comes out super LOW). The Edison mics wires are hidden within...

I am thinking to use a speaker to drive a mic. Is this possible, and if so, what would be better, a small speaker, earphone speaker, horn speaker, or even a piezo? I want to use this mod. to create a way that I can run basically an input to the driving speaker as to trigger the mics on old tube mach...

I was thinking to use a low watt. speaker or mono earphone and connect it directly to the mic. in the center, as to transmit the signal from the speaker to mic w/out sound, yet rather movement. ...

Hey diamone- How many on a spindle and how much for that spindle of X ? I'd be interested in these because I have a collection of them and have wanted to use these too...
