hi guys.

if i'm correct, in a previous topic/post flozki had suggested this new cutterhead 'caruso' would be aimed at semi pro users.

can this mean vinylrecorder users would be able to easily adapt to this cutterhead?

cheers.

Hi guys, I wonder..

The platter on the SP15 is 15.7 inches.. is the SP15 sufficient & able enough to accomodate 14" laquers to be cut?

Anyhow when adapting the Vinylrecorder to use feedback cutterhead & sapphire/appropriate stylus, it is then possible to cut laquer?

Cheers.

Hi there guys.

I ask if the SP15 is, overall, better than the SP10; torque wise/anything wise?

The platter on the SP15 is 15.7 inches. Is the SP15 able to accomodate 14" laquer to be cut?

Cheers.

@MEGAMIKE, am i right you use a Vinylrecorder? if you dont mind me asking; have you upgraded your Technics 12XX using any of MikeNew's products? if so, using which components altogether? has the upgrade done away with any low torque issues? if not, how have you perhaps overcome issues with wow/flutt...

At present I dont own a lathe. I'm just asking what I feel may be valid questions in order to gauge what would be the best possible setup to begin with. Vinylrecorder.com offer an Amp & Level Meter which are necessary to begin with (aswell as the Vacuum Cleaner) but I also wondered if theres any alt...

Understood, thanks! What I was getting at is perhaps if there be 2 seperate amp outputs, both controlled by the same volume/amp, then 1 output could serve as the level indicator and the other output then fed to the cutter; doing away with the Level Meter 'process' being in the (audio to be cut) chai...

Thans for the help/advice guy's. Any further suggestions or advice/info regarding what Amp to use and how to use it to its best capacity is much appreciated. Also I'm told that the Audio Level Meter is placed in the signal chain and so audio to be cut will run through this, is running audio through ...
