Anyone tried cutting with diamonds yet?

One question I have is, is this off-the-shelf PETG or a different formulation/grade?

I can say that I’ve been using myshank blanks and needles, I have about 10 hours on a stylus and it’s still going strong... no noise whatsoever, no problems cutting. I’d like to hear if any experiences you all have with PETG and diamond stylus. Supposedly this is what Souri blanks are, but I’m not positive. Has anyone here done comparisons with plain old PETG vs souri or Myshank blanks? Just curious, I have a bit of it laying around.

So supposedly Souri blanks are PETG. Has anyone here ever just tried cutting records with regular old PETG and a diamond? I ask because I have a bunch of it from another project that I don't need.

Anyone have any suggestions? I see Simpson has some low impedance meters, would that work? What are you all doing to monitor cutterhead current? I read an old post where someone tried to put a cheap ammeter in series and it affected sound quality.
