using pressed blanks with T560?

This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

using pressed blanks with T560?

Hi all,

I see this site is offering some really nice looking coloured and splatter-type blanks: https://www.diamond-cutting-stylus.com/12-blank-vinyl-record-shop/

I'd love to try cut on these with my T560 but I'm unsure of whether or not that's a good idea. Are pressed blanks suitable for this? Are they soft enough? Should I rather stick with Souri and MyShank blanks?

Thanks!
