Technics SP-10R

This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

A new version of the SP-10 is on it's way... 7kg platter!

Anybody want to guess the price? Can't see it being below 10k myself...

(posting here rather than in 'playback' due to popularity of the sp-10mki/ii for dub cutting)

oh WOW I didn't think they'd reissue the SP10, but I'm glad they are. hopefully used prices on the originals will drop a little bit

Everyone hopes :D But I think if the gap between used and new sp10 price is big enough there is no chance to drop for used TTs.
