Mobile Military Neumann Disc Cutting Lathe

This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

Hello Guys!

Got a very old Neumann Disc Cutting Lathe which I believe should be used in military usage.
So I wanted to ask about more information about this device. Maybe i will sell it and maybe someone
can say something about the value. I hope these is the right place on these platform, because I am a new
member.

Thank you very much and have a great evening!

- Ludwig :)

you're probably better off in the classified section if you wanna sell it....Oldest Neumann I have seen so far...very cool but not much more than a doorstop at this point. needs amazing amount of work and if that's all you have it's missing lot of essential parts too.

I see an Ortofon connector dangling off the cable...... poor thing is in horrible shape, but what an amazing piece she still is! Hope she found a good home?
