Black blanks in Australia - would you if you could ?

This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

Hello!!

Shipping prices from Europe are on the increase. Actually worldwide costs.

Question - if you could purchase quality blanks (Specifically black) from Australia, would you?

Remember - the exchange from Euro, US$, Pounds to AU$ is strong.. And there are a few of us cutting in Australia.

I am digging deep to find a supplier and think I am getting close now.

Once I have found black, clear is easy, then onto the colours/textures etc...

If I can please have your honest opinions, maybe you purchase from elsewhere and are not thinking of changing?, this will help me in my quest!

I'm not in Australia, but I am selling coloured polycarbonate blanks from NZ - including a transparent browny-black.
