This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

Apollo will sell you whatever number of plates you want. They just add $1 extra per plate. So, three would be the normal price times 3 plus $3 + $18 for the box and shipping. Where are you located? I have a lot.

am in ireland, thought min. order was 5. am sure the same min applies to transco(cheaper p&p)

Yes, Apollo took over Transco. But, they Apollo still produces both. Look at their catalog.

Not sure about the 5 plate minimum. Here in the states, I don't think they have such a minumum.

If you pay the small extra amount per disc and the shipping/box charge I dont' see why they wouldn't send you just one... You are paying a premium for it!

thats what i was wondering, if appollo have no min. order wont transco have to same no min. order considering both the same company.
