Missing in action?

This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

Hi all,

This is a general shout out to see if anyone has heard from Tommi 'Cymbalism' Emmi lately? :?:
I've been trying to contact him every way I know how (this forum, his poly-cut website, AIM) for the past few weeks but have not had any response :cry:

Just concerned that something has happened!
Anyone have any news?

He has been in the hospital for diverticulitis or something. At home recovering now. Living the lathe troll dream takes it toll on your health.
