A few video clips of my time with Al Grundy (as promised).

This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

This youtube video contains a series of video clips of my time with Al Grundy. This was filmed while I received training on the VMS 70 that Al restored for me.

I have many hours of video, but these clips were pertinent to some discussions in other threads, especially this one https://lathetrolls.com/viewtopic.php?t=2454&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0&mforum=lathetrolls towards page 2 - 4. The discussion was regarding the resonant frequency of the sx74 head and the riaa curve amongst other things... These clips provide some excellent information on the subject.

I apologize for how long it took for me to post this. I had to get everyone's permission in the video clips before posting.

Enjoy!
