Bob Weston & Jason Ward Interview

This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

There is an interview at Tape Op by Larry Crane. I thought it was an interesting read, especially the when they talk about the construction of the room where they master.
Also in the print edition there is an interview with Greg Calbi and he talks about his days starting out in mastering records.
I feel like I'm part of some tape op street team. Anyway, just thought I would bring it to your attention if you haven't seen it already.
