New advance ball home made cutter

This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

New advance ball home made cutter

Have just finished designing and making a cutter system using advance ball technique. It's for cutting wax cylinders and the photo and description is on the handcrankers forum (link below)
Other flat disc cutter fans might be interested to see a home made cutter using advance ball for groove depth stability, so I mention it here.
