Rek-O-Kut lead screws

This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

Is it possible to obtain a lead screw that will allow me to cut standard groove (not microgroove) for making 78s? The machine is an Imperial.

I also need an outside-in lead screw for a K10 - if anyone can help here it would be most appreciated.

I have a K-10 but it is missing some of the gears that take the place of lead screws. There should be four in total - one for outside-in standard groove and one for outside-in microgroove and the other two are the same except inside-out. They are normally found stored under the turntable. The one I have is for outside-in standard groove, which is fine because i mostly cut 78s.

The 12" Rek-O-Kuts came equipped from the factory with 108 lpi outside-in leadscrews; the 16" version was 120 lpi. Other leadscrews for the 12" were 120, 144, 216, 240 and 264 lpi in either direction; for the 16" there were 105, 135, 210, 240 and 270 lpi. There may also have been a 96 lpi screw for the 12 and a 90 lpi screw for the 16 available briefly when they were first introduced.

Finding any of these for sale now is going to be like looking for a needle in a haystack, sadly. Especially the inside-out screws.
