Magnasync tube amp and mixer Question

This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

Magnasync tube amp and mixer Question

I have this new gear a Magnasync tube amp with mixer, It looks super nice and used to belong to some cat who used to cut records with it. I bought it pretty much for the looks and the Vu meter. = P The research tells me it was used for film? Anyone ever use one of these? It seems to be for movies? I love the way the vintage gear looks. Any issue to drive my cutter head with this.
