you should read carefully what mossboos wrote about setting up a new pressing plant ... he is totaly right .
MPO is abble to sell records for a lower price than what it will cost to you ...
they love their company and will protect it
if one day a record go out of your plant , and if you begin to have a bit of buisness , they will eat you if they think you are a danger ... even if you have a lot of money ... you will lose everything ..

We used to buy vinyl compound from Zipperling Kessler & Co in Germany who also made an anti-static compound. Zipperling sold that part of the business to Clariant, Switzerland in 1996. http://www.clariant.com/
I'm sure there are others.

Normally, to get a decent price, you have to buy from the "big companies" 10-15 Tons of compounds per time, like we do here. So for a small plant this can be a little bit expensive in the beginning!
Not to talk about the granulators. If you want to waste all the flash and rejects you produce - (normally on Alpha Toolex 6%-10% percent on good machines), that's fine, but you will anyway waste a lot of money.
And what about centerpins? Bushes? Moulds? When they will wear out, what will you do with your customers?
And what about leaking valves, boiler seals?
Welcome to the fantastic world of vinyl records pressing!
