small press run

Once you have cut a master laquer, you have metal stampers created and have records pressed from them. Discuss manufacturing here. (Record Matrix Electroforming- Plating, Vinyl Record Pressing.)

small press run

i'm curious...

does anyone on here do small press runs of 20 to 50? and how much would one charge per vinyl record?

i'm new to cutting records and don't yet have my lathe up to speed yet. plus i'm wondering if it would be cheaper in the long run to make my on records (per slab) then mass-produced by some pressing company.

any help would be greatly appreciate.

I know you can find someone to do a run that has a press.

with printed labels, such a small run doesn´t make sense.
you have to print minimum 500 paird labels.
every pressing plant can do a small amount of Testpressings/whitelabels.
but you need, for 12inch:
cutting: 150-200 euro
galvanic: 150 euro
and other costs, packing, shipping etc.
best regards,
