worlwide amount of presses in use...

Once you have cut a master laquer, you have metal stampers created and have records pressed from them. Discuss manufacturing here. (Record Matrix Electroforming- Plating, Vinyl Record Pressing.)

worlwide amount of presses in use...

Hey there,
got some good news...
The DISCOPRESS project turns in to a company!

I hope i can start at mid summer this year...
the first mashine is ready to build and investors to invest.
The presses are available as follows:
Manual version, half and fully automated...

but i have to answear a lot of pappers the last time... pre orders:D

my local chamber of comerce offered me a fund of around 70-120.000€

so its not easy to write down some market data for a bussiness part who doesnt exists since the mid 80s.
im near the finish of a bussiness plan 12 pages.

there is some data about the global vinyl sales available like from IFPI, RIAA, GEMA and so one who are part of the bussiness plan but...
id like to know the best verified amount of presses around the world who are still in use so far...
should i say 190 or 130 old mashines?
what is the trend per year of the wear out factor of the amount?
how does it looks in 2015 so far?

at this point of time i print some broshures for investors, and future customers and clients about our first unit the DP 12/7 press
pm me with a delivery adress and you get one 96 pages...

thanks in advance for your answears!

Newbild = Finebild clone i think Ive heared an amount of xx.xxx,xx€ for a press...

Meanwhile we tested our moulds At our extruder suplyer. The result was verry good.

Also we changed the pressing direction
The cylinder Works from above yet.

It reduces material and costs in the manufacturing process and also needs Lower hydraulic pressure using a new Kind of pressure booster.
Also clamping stampers is easyer yet.
Sorry for the delay! But my dude Who does the technical drawings, calculations and FEM anslysis isnt the quickest.
The Last Time i meet Many investors and specialists for funding.
Before i go that risky way i introduce a crowdfunding project in october on kickstarter (Germany) for the final Prototype and later on At "seedmatch"
Using Any chanels for going viral.
I Hope you guys help us with it!
I have around 25 Interessted Users / costumers since the Start of the DISCOPRESS project... So there must be a way...
Im on Skype yet just search for Marc Levi Mousa or mousa@gmx.ne
Its easyer for me to answear
Marc

Well that's about right, fair these days, can you tell us if you are already in production prototype or planning stages?
Can you post up some technical stuff here for people who are interested?
It would be nice to see some photos here of the complete machine
Personally and in particular I would like to see a detailed shot of the controller, unless it is a Simatic Plc, which we already know as well as the pneumatics, it would be nice to see the extromat gear box and barrel
Let us all know

We are at an early stage of production. Since the press is beeing built according to original drawings (with modifications on some parts) there's no need for any prototype. In other words we continue where Toolex once quitted some 25 years ago

OT:
Toolex last date of contract for vinyl presses was May 17, 1990 concerning 4 presses for Melodiya in the USSR for the total price of 2 732 000 swedish crowns.

Great
Let's be realistic, toolex autos are not exactly perfect, they are very well made indeed however there is a hell of a lot room for improvement on the existing design
Some superficial other areas necessary
Considering that it is a 30 year plus old design to copy it and offer it today one certainly needs to know all the issues these machines have
No point in elaborating here suffice to say that most people who run these machine know very well what needs attention
By comparison to an SMT or a Lened these machine are a complex design
It is not as simple as a the finebilt copy that's on offer which is no more than a four post press with a few valves and plc to run it
The attempt to copy an alpha is certainly courageous good luck with it

Okay guys... this is Marc from DISCOPRESS back again!

Time is running fast and id sayd it often but yet were ready...
You guys maybe know how it goes if you build something huge :D
i had manny discussions with possible customers, engineers, banks, part suplyers, iron casting companys and also university professors in mashine building and at least pressing plant technicans in europe...
At the 25.11.15 i got 5 meetings with banks, private investors. the goal of starting production is near.
I didnt forgot all the people who wrote me during the time about any infos, details and news.
i try to anwear soon in an youtube video maybe.

i can tell its not like building a dishwasher the A4 sheeds with the regularityes we should use is 110cm tall yet but all fits by no violation of patents or pending cases.

And by the way... MPO dont ask me technical details :D

We got enough amount to handle the case with an usual bank credit yet.

Here are some companys i would say thank you for the bussiness so far "i know you read that"

Morello S.A. Buenos Aires
Arvato Bertelsmann / Sonopress Germany
MY 45 Germany
Duophonic Germany
and specialy my mate from the former DFI/VPI plant in france.

Also some former plant owners asked me for ready to instail stampers for 12"
and also for a way to cut master discs like apollo/transco... any ideas thats are well known companys i meet and i sayed i ask my contacts :D or is there just a Technics 1210 driven solution?

I come up with news soon...

Marc

Thanks for the Update
What I get out of this is that you are now ready and going to start making new presses with some radical differences from what we already have
Sounds fantastic

Thats right.

as described, we start soon!

also DP 1207 is just the project name :D

DP 1207-A (Automatic)
DP 1207-S (Half Automated)
DP 1207-M (Manual Version)

i sayd the A Version will be available for around 11-25.000,00€
during the time the Setup is a bit heavyer and more costly in production specialy weight is around 820Kg yet for the A version the right price is around the 35-40000€ yet

We tryed everything to build the most rigid for the smallest price but specialy the hydraulics are the most expansive to build that press for industrial use...
She presses upwards again, one main piston and 4 coloumn pistons high pressure driven by a second hydraulic suply.
like used in some injection molding presses
Max. closing force is adjustable up to 120 Tonns jet but the whole mashine will fit a groundspace of one euro pallet...

for all of you who are in contact with me and also who send pre ordering sheeds to me ill try to provide the price range i offered in our deals in 2013 / 2014

The main concept is still to came up with the ´MULTIMOULD´ concept. one 12´´ mould who fits 7 10 and 12´´ IEC 0098 stampers
where it is possible to heat the mould with steam or hot oil and cool it down with cold oil or water... its also interessting for users without a steam boiler.
also in our focus is that ´EASYLOOK´ clamping device who holds the stamper working togheter with the varyous top plattes of the mold.
specialy the mold is optimated in questions about wear out life time and also its not possible to get any corossion at the inner steam channels.
