Larry Nix told me that back in the day they used to return blown lacquers, lacquers used for test cuts etc. to the manufacturers for credits on future orders. Does anyone know if this is still done and if so what kind of credit to expect or ask for?

I already heard back from Misty at Apollo and she said they used to but they don't anymore. So does anyone know about anyone else who does?

Sell them for ally scrap mate
If you have the space as well as the inclination you can boil them down in a big 44 gallon drum with water out in your back yard so as to get rid of the lacquer
Once cleaned from lacquer Scrappies will pay you top dollar for them
Else they will discount down due to the lacquer
Make sure you have some steaks and few beers to do a cookout as it takes a bit of time
Collect the floating mess of lacquer bottled it, it will float up the top flog it here for dudes to make they own cutting plates
If there is one good side left or enough for a cut people here will buy them for more than scrap
Just need to trim them down to size, say 12 inches on a circle cutter
They will be a bit daggy at the edges but it would still be the best cutting material the trolls here ever had for a few dollars
Cheers
Chris
