poly-carbonate plastic for cutting..?

Has anyone ever used this for cutting on lathes..?
Where would this plastic be purchased..?
If anyone has any info -- I would like to hear from you...

Call any plastic supplier in your area. You can get 7" squares for very cheap. If you need round records, I believe both opcode and Tragwag sell Cnc routed circles.

Is makrolon preferable to lexan brand? I ask because that's what my plastics distributor carries.
