Possible alternative to vacuum platter?

Anything goes! Inventors! Artists! Cutting edge solutions to old problems. But also non-commercial usage of record cutting. Cost- effective, cost-ineffective, nutso, brilliant, terribly fabulous and sometimes fabulously terrible ideas.

ah neat! this would be cool to have for slightly warped 12" blanks.

I dont see a price posted for it maybe my eyesight has finally failed me.

I did a simple 16 inch aluminum chuck.

Only does 14 inch lacquers and 12 inch dubs.
Comes in pretty costly about 800€ before tax. The bottom parts really eats into the budget.
I have a chap who cuts front panels for me but cant cutting anything over 10mm depth which is a shame as would have brought the price down to 600€

The suction power wont be the same for 10/7 inch plates as there some exposed holes around the edge.
Its still mostly a work in progress but gives an idea

Todd, hurry up man... :D

From time to time I have considered picking one up but the add on parts I would need is where the supplier really gets you.
