this is a violin and piano recording. this song has never existed as an Edison two minute cylinder and is virtually impossible to record on a spring driven phonograph due to the long sustained violin notes. the electric cylinder lathe has allowed me to record this to a cylinder for the first time with excellent results. this is a contemporary recording of the hit song from the 1924 stage play, NO, NO NANETTE...
