[Original title: "confused by some forum answers"]

Hey guys Ive been digging and digging on this topic and everyone seems to say something different on the material used in Souris blanks.

On his website, it says (his words - PVC non-acetate)

Others are saying its PolyCarbonate ( lexar, makrolon)

This is all so confusing. I need to tell my customers what the product Im using is, they have a right to know.

Can one of the more experienced cutters with a VR machine please confirm if its PVC or PC.

I know this has probably been covered before but I just cant seem to get an answer for either.

Failing this, I'm getting the local plastics company to do a test on the product and will report back..

Makrolon GP Black L10
0.06" thick

Black plastic with clear gloss coating on both sides. You are actually cutting unto the thin coating. Which is clear.

So the product is actually Polycarbonate, not PVC like Souri says on his web site ?

Why would he do that ?

I need to tell my customers what it is, some won't buy certain types.
