am sure am referring to right thing here.

its the top part of a presto 6n. including the platter.

i have seen one somewhere recently but cant remember where. if anybody can point me in the right direction would be great

still searching, its a transcription table am after

i also will take any poor conditioned presto 6n's

Those are hard to find. I think the japanese audiophiles are picking them up for playback turntables. I see plenty of overheads, but no lonely turntables...

Robert is still around, but he doesn't let anything go cheap, and I know for a fact that he has been selling the turntables to Asia, he told me he had three overheads that came off of turntables he sold, but I think he wanted like $700 just for the overhead. Can't remember for sure, because I instantly knew I didn't want them for anywhere near his price. No telling what he sold the turntables for.

i could pick up an old Gate 16" TT and modifiy it to take the 6n overhead and tone arm. just needs a bit of welding and drilling.

is the torque ok to use for cutting with these old TT
