Our company is seeking a pressing line complete to pressing a format 12'', 10'' and 7''and all the machinery attached.
We have already in our Possession studio cutting and all equipment necessary to perform the plating.
We would find these component fairly quickly.

About 150-170,000 euros plus transport to Siberia?? I can set you up with the rest
Allow another 50 K for the incidentals if they do not exist as well as time of about 3-5 months as a guess Most plants resurected so as to go into production is about 12 months or more
That is mostly due to lack of money in the main and not willingnes or expertise to make it happen
So PM on this if you are ok with the above

Now most of the gear will be more than 35-40 year old and MORE
No warranties and no returns
And a lot of work to get them up and running
If you look at a post of mine to KVassis new member here you get a good idea of what you need
So If you have that kind of money READY let me know

If all these russian inquirys ever come to pass the place will be the record pressing centre of the world
But it seems to me that our vinyl friends there are no less vinyl dreamers than the rest of the world
Funny there is about one a week who wants to do this in the last few months Not sure why it seems that the western press about Vinyl's revival its been translated and served on the Russian reading public by reporters in the music scene so the interest is aroused
Or may be they can see enriching themeselves pirating and bootlegging May be both
It remains a fact that when costs are revealed they just evaporate
or they get into a never ending exchange of mail as to the ins and outs of cost
Posting here is ok but when they start why this so much and I can do it cheaper than it is obvious they are dreaming or thinking of a MarkRob special which is fine as well if it is a hobby
Lets see if this is another one of I want the gear You want to much I can do it cheaper
Curious why they ever post here if that is the case
It is an open forum indeed The issue is if we do not respond we get bagged
I remember a little while back we got accused of being a "secret society"
So since than every one now gets a reply at least on the part of plating and pressing from and input from me any way others have a say as well
That is so as to make sure there is nothing secret here and we are open
about it
When it comes to pressing records it is a case of:

Ok than you have a battle if front of you my man
Its called MPO
Pressing records for 56 years
The largest optical disc manufacturer in Europe with a blue ray CD setup just installed at a cost of 30 odd Million Euros
Turnover 130 Million euros a year
Prices for records from MPO are the lowest in the world if they want to do them
From a commercial aspect they are a tough competitor
They took out VIP in France and mothballed or destroyed all the gear I believe
From a nostalgic aspect or from people who love their vinyl and we all do here, its a credit to them thats for sure, they must be the longest surviving pressing plant under the same ownership in the world
This is something that has to be taken into account, of course only from an enthusiasts point of view
However it is not easy from a commercial point of view
These people are a tough competitor
Via their broad based broker network as well as branch offices in the UK Germany France as well as Spain and elsewhere they will beat any quote
As a fully integrated facility its hard to beat, the closest being Record Industry in Holland but not cd production there
So any CD vinyl production combination its done there at a very competitive cost
If you separate the vinyl component it is to the point of being unprofitable or even subsidised
That is in so far as against another pressing plant where the level of integration in so far as label printing sleeves and packaging is done off site by other people who expect a profit individually rather than an overall profit for the job as in case of MPO
Any way there is Habib there in France with a single 12" press who has been running for a while
Member here why dont you pm him and hook up with him
His being at it a little while now
He will tell you the scene in France thats for sure
I am also sure he will tell you about what it costs to set up one press as he has done it
He also cuts and has a studio as well
