Another cassette is offered for the next donor of at least 70 USD to Lathe Trolls.

The KS70 cassette for Neumann SP consoles is used for automated cutting where the number of titles is entered and it does something for this. By preselecting the number of titles, I suppose?, it ignores the last segment of leader tape and achieves Lead Out spiraling there for Finish, rather than Banding. Maybe it's for something else?

From the SP79 brochure:

"All key-controlled functions of the VMS disk cutting
lathes ystema re remote controllable from the console.
Remote control is also coupled with the automatic
banding unit which causes spirals to be cut between
program bands as indicated by leader tape."


It has a rectangular Amphenol / Tuchel 13-pin connector on the back. A mating connector for wiring into your harness is included. Alas, no schemo for this one.
