Really good detail photographs of a Neumann SX68
For anyone interested, get on Ebay because there is a guy selling a SX68 head (too rich for me!), but interestingly the seller has uploaded a LOT of REALLY good pictures of the business end.
Got to admit I downloaded the lot, there are things to be learned from those images (The torque tube is both shorter and thicker then I was expecting, and the rubber damping at the back of the torque tube was unexpected in a feedback head, maybe to dampen some higher frequency mode?).

It has been pointed out that this is a bit of a hack in that there are some '74 parts on there, so this is not actually a clean SX-68.
MAD money IMHO, a good modern head could be had for half that price, and no need to get a rebuild done, but whatever.
