Recordette needles in VR - possible?

Anything goes! Inventors! Artists! Cutting edge solutions to old problems. But also non-commercial usage of record cutting. Cost- effective, cost-ineffective, nutso, brilliant, terribly fabulous and sometimes fabulously terrible ideas.

I've got around 20 cutting needles for Recordette laying around and I wonder if I can try them in VR. Possible?

I would say no, as the VR torque tube is it's own size.
Even neumann shank needles don't fit right in there, but they're close.
the steel, long shank needles for the recordette are much different.
