Printing software

This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

You can you use "gimp". It's free and it's working on win/mac. If you need any help, just send me a pm.

There is also PIXLR Editor.
https://pixlr.com/
Also free - cloud based - owned by Autodesk, so it should be around for awhile...

i use these labels:
https://www.onlinelabels.com/OL991.htm

they provide a template on their website, but i found some modification to be necessary to make it usable.

also, i find that a vector-based design program like inkscape produces cleaner results (for me anyway) than a raster-based editor like gimp or photoshop. basically, i design labels in inkscape, and then import them into gimp for printing. hope that helps!
