NE Lathe Trolls Get-Together NYC - Wed 7/10/13

This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

By il porto I assume you mean this place in Ft Greene? Ah....yes....link posted before.

37 Washington Ave Brooklyn, NY 11205

I probably will get there close to 6:30.

To consolidate, here's info for earlybirds + latecomers...

1.
If you're coming early, some folks will be meeting at Il Porto from 5ish. It's a great casual place where you don't actually have to sit down and order a full on meal or anything, you can just sit in the to-go area, or on the benches outside, grab a slice and have a beer or whatnot.

2.
I'll be arriving around 6:15 and from 6:30 onwards, we'll shift everything to my house one block over at 16 Waverly Ave. If we want, we could order a few pizzas to go to bring with us. At that point, if you're not already part of the crew, there's a few options as to where we will be hanging out depending on the weather (it may rain...).

3.
a) On my rooftop (ideal choice, nothing like a Brooklyn sunset)
b) In my/GFs apartment, on the 3rd floor (just a heads-up if anyone is allergic, we have a cat)
c) In my rehearsal space, in the basement (might be easier logistically if anyone has gear they want to swap... less stairs / more of a workspace vibe)

In any case, give me a buzz and i'll let you in: 347-322-4858
