Unknown Ebay lathe

This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

Hello people, I have seen this strange lathe, remember me a little a "tank", very stable.
I think that is very very rare, never seen in many years of net researches...

It's just a standard Rek-O-Kut overhead, but I've never heard of the turntable maker, Sweeny Sound Eng in Toledo Ohio. Looks like two speeds based on changing the belt position, but not sure if that's 33 and 78 or 33 and 45. I would guess 45 and 33 based on the relative sizes of the wheels. Any one know anything about that company?

Hello, My grandfather Clyde Sweeny was the owner of Sweeny Sound, in Toledo. Let me know your question and I can email to my uncle (Clyde's son) who worked with him way back then. Thank you.
