This is where record cutters raise questions about cutting, and trade wisdom and experiment results. We love Scully, Neumann, Presto, & Rek-O-Kut lathes and Wilcox-Gay Recordios (among others). We are excited by the various modern pro and semi-pro systems, too, in production and development. We use strange, extinct disc-based dictation machines. And other stuff, too.

I am not sure if Adi is here or not. But here is a little overview of a great project he is involved in. We need to see more of this stuff documented.

ah this is really great! love to see great studios like that covering all that ground from tracking mixing mastering and cutting.

Thanks for sharing this. Cool people, there's definitely a trend in recording direct to disc... the studio I work with asked me to make a video like this one.
