Hi guys Im new here.

I own the VR.

Just wondering about the Vinyl Optimizer that is with the lathe, is it a very basic eq? Would it be better to get a much better rack mounted 31 band EQ? Im told it has compression built in as well.. Or is it just a waste of money ?

I dont seem to get much control out of it thats all.

Im sure you experienced lathe trolls have the answer here.

Ive attached the pictures of the eq..

ha ha, the denoiser spray is just an antistatic fluid, you can buy
it at maybe at your local record supplier, in germany www.protected.de

An external EQ can help, but if you don´t have a feedback head, it will be
nearly impossible, to get a flat frequency response, because of the mechanical
resonances... If I am wrong, please correct me!
