we’ve released an album and I’d like to have it cut as a vinyl record and I have no clue how to go about this. I'd like to present it to the recording artist for her birthday as she is a personal friend :?:

So you want to cut ONE record?

Many of our members can transfer your digital sound recording to an analogue disc. This disc could be polycarbonate or an "acetate".

Hit up Tragwag here for all the options.

Well - you found the right place. Depending on your requirements, you may get a record cut (both sides) between 40 and around 100 Dollars. And "cut" ist the right word, because the music will be physically cut into the material - be it some form of lacquer or plastic. An alternative would be the "imprinting" of the sound on polycarbonate. This is a pretty cheap solution but may not be suitable to play on all turntables.

I suggest you post what you want and I am sure you will get a variety of quotes.
