Tone arm mounting ideas for Presto 8n

Anything goes! Inventors! Artists! Cutting edge solutions to old problems. But also non-commercial usage of record cutting. Cost- effective, cost-ineffective, nutso, brilliant, terribly fabulous and sometimes fabulously terrible ideas.

Curious if anyone has mounted a tone arm for instantaneous monitoring during the cut? My 8n is in the original console

I have a 6n and I'm also trying to find a tone arm I can easily add to my setup... I might go so far as to try to 3d printing one

my 6N came with an Audax KT-16, but the way it swings makes it impossible to monitor while cutting.
not too familiar with how the 8N is laid out, but I'm guessing a 16" tonearm would do
making lathe cuts on a Presto 6N, HIFI stereo cuts on vinylrecorder

Thank you everyone... I have an old tone arm that might do the trick but mounting it is the questionable part. Was going to make a round base for it that raises it to platter height and tracks right in front of the cutter head (kinda sketchy how close it gets!)

Was hoping someone successfully did it and had pictures

Here is my thread on setting up a tone arm on my 8D.
https://www.lathetrolls.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=6655&p=43305&hilit=presto+microtrak#p43305

You can mount the tone arm directly on your 8N, and I could not... But you will find some interesting things in the thread.
