Hey Guys,
Alan Graves is going to be in town on Thursday June 23rd, and is coming over to my place to visit.
Anyone within driving distance is welcome to join us. If you are local and have some Presto gear that you have a question about or need some advice on, bring it along. We may end up shooting some Presto Tech Talk video too!

There is a slight possibility he can move it to the weekend, but that's up in the air as of today.
If you would like to attend Thursday or can only attend on the weekend, drop me a PM.

BTW, he will be here most of next summer so we will try to put together an event next year with lots of advanced notice.

Any other Oregon Lathtrolls out there who want to come? Chime in! Trying to get a head count for firing up the BBQ.

We had an awesome day yesterday with Alan Graves! Keven (gridlock) and his wife Kate were able to make it, and Kevin brought his Presto K8 and various other "Rube Goldberg" like contraptions. He demonstrated cutting (not embossing) a specific plastic picnic plate he found that yields surprisingly good results. Alan and I both were impressed. I shot some video and I'll edit that into a little video to share with you trolls in another post this weekend.

I also shot some video of Alan looking over my crazy Presto TL-10 Turntable to Tape adapter, and of him scratching his head trying to figure out how it works. Then we did a little demo using the 8D as the turntable! Some may remember, my 8D was owned by Alan from 1961 through 1991 or so.

And here we are! What a great day. Lathetrolls are such fun people.
