Scam Warning: non-Souri "VinylRecorderS"

Distinct from the "Members Only" section about business disputes, this is a section for those special few sellers who have distinguished themselves through clearly intentional efforts to scam multiple customers. If you intend to start a thread here, please check it with Steve E. first.

This is where it gets confusing, for those who are just getting into record cutting.

OK. First of all.

NOT a scam. LEGITIMATE PRODUCT:
Souri's Vinyl Recorder or VinylRecorder:
http://vinylrecorder.com/

Souri has been doing his thing since before our site has been up.....so, over ten years. RELIABLY. Many of our site users use his product, T560; some -- several? -- have used it professionally for years. As with any system, there are pros and cons to it, and you can search the site for ongoing discussions about it. It involves an investment in equipment, an investment in training, and proprietary blanks. Those who choose to use it have decided from the available data that it's a good match with their needs.

So, now, suddenly, we have this.

Scam. ILLEGITIMATE PRODUCT:
Angulo's "Vinyl Recorders" (with an "s" at the end) or "Vinyl Disc Recorde" [sic] or "Vinyl Disc Recorder":
http://vinyldiscrecorder.wix.com/vinylrecorders
and
https://www.facebook.com/VinylRecorders
(Which I can't seem to visit. if YOU can, please post screen shots.)

The main discussion is in this other thread, which any members are encouraged to contribute to:
http://www.lathetrolls.com/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=5854
I wanted to post a separate thread for the sake of the title.

Angulo seems to be a moving target, most likely changing his name to avoid our warnings.
