Anybody ever given thought to it? strongest carbon atom, cost prohibited etc etc.... seems like were losing out.

Is that the Berkeley research. Just reading up on that now. Id love to hear the difference with a Graphene diaphragm.

Not sure there is a piece of graphene in existence big enough to make a stylus, is there?

Graphene has a long list of superlative features, and maybe it will find its way into lathing machines one day, but its so hard to make in large quantities, I think the focus for now will be using very thin sheets of it in nano-technology where it already surpasses any other material.

Yea it's only a pipe dream really. Would be very interesting IF it was ever possible. We live and dream though.

Carbon nanotubes would probably be the way to go... as far as I am aware it has been made into solid structures big enough for a stylus.
