Could you make lower count feedscrews? Like around 88 or so?

The reason i was just asking for lower count feedscrews was that i wanted to try and make some roulette records or double groove disc.

But if the demand isnt there no worries.

John has made me about 40 feedscrews to date, along with many other replacement parts.

We are extremely lucky to have a good machinist who is interested in the hobby enough to make these things. Most shops I approached before he came on the scene either weren't interested in messing with it, or wanted totally absurd prices.

All of johns pricing is fair and the pieces are nice. Getting these to tolerance isn't easy, and he will stand by his work and will fix/remake it if it doesn't work.

As someone who currently owns 14 lathes and has restored/repaired at least 40 others over the last decade, having John (and Todd Mariana for head repairs) has been invaluable.

Just want to give a big shout out to John, s craftsmanship aswell. Got a custom piece to modify my rek o kut , thanks to johns work ,im my rek o kut challenger is fitted with a different head than the stock one that the lathe came with and can now be fitted with most vertical mount mono heads!
maximum respect,
patrick
p.s dont hesitate to ask John to make precise machined hardware for your lathe needs, every vintage lathe owner should support his service n products, we are very lucky indeed to have a master machinist that is willing to offer his services with the plus that he is a longtime member here and honest n fair in his dealings.

Yes... the extremely tall elf did help immensely. And I make a point to never give him clothes (I've been promising a birthday gift of a custom satin studio jacket, but it ain't gonna actually happen). Also, Herbie Lovell really killed it on the drums...
