MY FIRST BLOG DEVOTED TO ACOUSTIC DISC RECORDING!

Devoted to discussion of all-acoustic record-playing machines, such as Edison cylinder players, Victrolas, Brunswick Ultonas, and the like. When the Big Blackout happens, this will be the only audio evidence of our civilization (as it is).

Jorni, you've inspired me to try my hand at this as well. Am I correct in deducing that the engravers are basically just re-purposed reproducers?

Yeah, those are reproducers and had to try several ones in order to get different results! My respects for those early recording engineers! They had to overcome so many difficulties while making each record!!
