Welcome!!! That is a very interesting web page. Does this mean JVC made their own cutterheads?

actually it is an ortofon head. i think they just labeled with jvc.
i had the amps for this head. they build they own amps (
quite nice but not super funky stuff ) for jvc quadro setup. at jvc cutting room in new york they had jvc amps and the red and blue ortofon heads. plus scully "the lathe" LS76.

I was not aware that JVC had a cutting room in New York. Their cutting room in Hollywood was in what used to be the RCA building on the corner of Sunset and Ivar. The lathe was a Neumann, the console was JVC's own. As mentioned, the head bears resemblance to an Ortofon. The Victor people claimed it was modified in their Japan labs. The cutting amplifiers had beautiful custom front panels but they were box stock Thresholds (no cutter feedback or RIAA externals). I did some calculations comparing the stated efficiency of the SAL/SX74 compared to the JVC head/Threshold amp combination: the result was almost identical. But the SX74 was more reliable.
