I've done a couple of 7" with corporate records. They sound a little clearer and louder than the peter king stuff I've had done. They came a lot faster too. They're in New York and I got my records in like 2 weeks. Haven't tried any of the other people.

Does anyone know what tubes should be in there?

I just got a pretty beat up ROK R-8B Amp I'd like to restore. Does anyone know where to find a the schematic or manual?

I'd take three of the 5/8" presto style shank for my fairchild.

I use bits made for cutting plastic from www.onsrud.com. They make bits in any size you could want. To make holes in really thin stuff I just make sure to clamp something hard on top (usually a piece of clear acrylic) so that the materials stay flat when I drill them.

OK, I guess I was mistaken. I do have the bearing. Unfortunately I also have a wee bit of play in the platter. Maybe that platter I have isn't original? Any suggestions as to where to go from here?

Well, it looks like i've been doing all of my cutting without a platter bearing! I'm surprised it has worked as well as it has. Anyone have an idea where to find a replacement?

Hmmm... I've got the 1D connected and working so maybe I shouldn't worry about it, but I don't see any extra leads on the output transformer. Should they be obvious? I suppose my main issue now is that the volume of my cuts goes up and down with each turn of the record. I'm guessing that the platter...

Hello, I'm currently cutting on a presto K8 that came with a 1C head. I just got a 15ohm 1D head and I'm wondering if the amp in the K8 will work with it. Does anyone know what the output impedance of the K8 amplifier is? or how I can check it? Thanks!
