3in records, Crosley etc

Hello, I was curious what everyone thought of the 3in record? Looks like they are lathe cuts. Do you think this will only be a Crosley thing or will other manufacturers pick up on it? Anyone know who makes them? Also, I tried to do a cut on 3in CDR but my lathe(ROK M5) won't go that small, so that r...

Re: Kick-Starter: Scully LS-76 Restoration.

yeah, I want a stereo cutter head as well. I swear if someone buys one for me I will cut cheap dubs, no problem. Ive spent over ten years saving and scraping shit together to even attempt this hobby. never thought about begging for it from folks wanting the same thing.

Two MONO cutter heads and one Amp?

No this isnt a link to a porn....Lol Curious if it is possible to run two 8 ohm cutterheads (presto 1d & Audax) with a Rekokut R8a amp? On the back of the amp there is a 16 ohm output, could I run them parallel off the amp?

Much respect to those that contribute to this board.

VACUUMS for NEWBS

The search engine sucks or I am a retard.
Please share for this newbie what vacuum system to use, quality over price. Don't care about a plastic aquarium pump conversion. Need something pro and feel like I am wasting time navigating the site.

Re: Presto K8 playback arm/needle

Thanks Techie. That has helped me narrow it down. I still don't know what it looks like, and I don't want to play 78's. Does anyone think this might work for playback even though it says it for 45 playback? http://www.needles4jukeboxes.com/IMG_4032.JPG

Presto K8 playback arm/needle

Hello folks, Anyone know the model# for the Audax playback arm on a Presto K8? Do you know of a place to purchase a needle besides eBay? The numbskull I bought the lathe from had left both needles installed when he shipped it. I have no clue what the playback needle looks like. Really appreciate thi...

Salina has a converted church that mostly host blues music festivals but is also a recording studio and of course has a bad ass neumann lathe(which when I saw it looked a little dusty to me). Kansas doesnt have...
