God knows I don't make a cent with my label, although I spend more time working on it than I do my full time job. This does ring a bell to me. As helping labels myself, I can tell you they are not making money at all (those I know). I even know some who loose cash. Mostly, the cash comes from the o...

How many do you need? A pressing run of 100 LP's can be done for around $700 and if you don't need any fancy packaging a little less. Your cost is still around $6 - $7 each unit and you have 100 copies. For just a few, 5 to 10, then yes individual discs are more economical. Could be interesting... ...

Thanks Destro! That's the kind of products I'm looking for. But, I could need longer than 14 minutes on a 12"LP side... Peter King is known to be 'out of internet' and I need to find someone whom I can contact using email (no phone). Another problem is the turntime, and delay in setting a project. T...

Short runs of lathe cut : where? who?

Hello,

I'm looking for someone able to do short runs of lathe cuts (polycarbonate).
Got several projects to get done, need to find someone with good communication and I can rely on.

At time of writing, projects are 12" albums.

Anyone?

I've heard about the bubbles issue. There are some vaccum tools that could help. Even a (professionnal) vaccum bag. I've read that we could use kind of a bag + our own vaccum to help... Dunno if it will be successful. Other solution, vibrations? The thing is, a professional vaccum for this purpose c...

Is it easy to do? or are there many issues to deal with?

Actually, I'm living in France. I know where to find the manufactureing form in my country, no troubles for that. I even get some records made in the USA, but then...The plant needed us to fill a specific form... And they didn't asked anything related to my country. That's why i was wondering about ...
