To be a fair test it need to be done on the same lathe body and the same LPI. If the two cuts don't come from the same apparatus then I don't think you are really going to have a baseline for comparison. The head should be swapped out from VinylRecorder to Vinylium. @Megamike - You need to adjust your latency buffer size. Poping or clicking from software generally means the computer can't keep up with the audio stream you are trying to deal with.
