I wondered if maybe someone here had any knowledge of these things at all? Tried Preco, who were very helpfu...

re: Question for dub cutters (legality)
Cheers for the replies. I get what you are saying about the legalities of making a copy to play in a club (unauthorised public performace etc), but it was my understanding (perhaps incorrectly though) that the venue pay for the right to play music in the club (think it's to the PPL in UK), which is ...

Question for dub cutters (legality)
Hope this is in the correct section..... To those who cut one off dubplates/pvc plates etc: If I was to come and ask you to cut a wav that I'd bought from a dl store that wasn't available on vinyl, a one off, just for my own DJ use. Would you request the authors permission? The way I see it I wouldn...

I got one a month or so ago from the AES site, they came into stock again shortly after the last AES show I think. Not sure if they still have some on the site itself, but if not drop Donna a mail, her email is on the previous page, and she will be able to give you any info about availability etc. e...

As most meters do, mine have an attenuator for each individual meter to be callibrated. I double checked the callibration of my meters themselves prior to callibrating the lathe. I used a digital device that a studio tech friend of mine has. I forget the name of it. It can generates and measures to...
