Hello, I am looking to buy a record lathe that cuts at 33 1/3 and 45 rpm. Anyone have any for sale? I want to be able to cut 12" and 7". any help would be greatly appreciated. -B

I recently found a good deal on a Federal Recorder Model 16S but have a lot of questions about it. First off, it cuts at 78 and 33 rpm. The thing is built like a tank. All of you have been very nice and helpful....Forgive me I am new to this and am trying to get decent results with that I have. Question: To speed up the sound source so that you can cut on 78 and that it plays back at 45 rpm? whats the formula? Speed the source up by???

Just change the wheel diameter? So in other words swap out a 45 rpm wheel in a turntable??? that's it?

I wish I could figure out how to slow the speed down. I'm not too into embossing however I really want to find a presto or rekokut

Is there a way to modify the wilcox gay recordio 78 rpm unit to turn at 45 rpm??? The unit I am referring to is the 8J10 thanks in advance
